Call 1-877-270-3519 to have them picked up at your door. \nACCEPTABLE ITEMS \nLimit of two major appliances – refrigerators and freezers must be tagged “Freon Free”. \nHousehold rubbish\, building materials (nothing over 6′)\, furniture\, mattresses\, chairs\, couches\, carpeting (cut to 6′ in length and tied)\, scrap metal\, etc. \nUNACCEPTABLE ITEMS \nTires\, batteries\, hazardous chemicals i.e. paint\, oil\, insecticides\, herbicides\, flammables and explosives. \nYard waste\, brush\, asphalt\, broken concrete. (No daily household garbage such as food scraps\, etc.) \nSeniors and handicapped who need assistance\, please contact Bud Banker at 231-624-1019 by June 8. \nKALKASKA COUNTY RECYCLE CENTER – 908 Island Lake Rd \nMonday thru Thursday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
