Clean-Up Day @ Blue Bear Trailhead (Please Read Guidelines)

You must bring proof of property ownership with you: the Newsletter, last property tax bill, proof of ownership or utility bill, etc.

First load is free, each additional will be $15.00 (a load is considered to be a pickup, utility trailer or equivalent).

You may recycle your old running refrigerators & freezers through Great Lakes Energy for a rebate. Call 1-877-270-3519 to have them picked up at your door.

ACCEPTABLE ITEMS

Limit of two major appliances – refrigerators and freezers must be tagged “Freon Free”.

Household rubbish, building materials (nothing over 6′), furniture, mattresses, chairs, couches, carpeting (cut to 6′ in length and tied), scrap metal, etc.

We ask that if your are bringing building materials that are accepted, please secure material in containers or bags for safety and faster unloading.  No loose materials.

UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS

Household garbage, tires, batteries, hazardous chemicals, paint, oil, explosives, yard waste, brush, asphalt, broken concrete, glass, burn barrels filled with trash, hot tubs.  NO LOOSE MATERIALS.

Just a reminder: Workers are volunteers, so help with whatever you are able, to make things move quickly.  Thank you.  This is a courtesy to the property owners and to help maintain our woods from debris, your cooperation is appreciated. 

RECYCLE AT THE TOWNSHIP—3 recycle bins at the Community Center for Homeowners use.

REMINDER: Do not discard your household garbage in the recycle bins, the bins are for recyclables.  Do not leave boxes or other items on the ground if bins are full. We will lose our recycle bins if this continues. Someone has to clean that up! Please observe the signs on what can and cannot be placed in the recycle bins. Thank You for your cooperation! These bins help keep our township free of litter.
